The splash zone was found to have some corrosion >33% in accordance with ASTM D610-08, clearly the CP has had some influence over corrosion in this area when wet. The film builds were measured up to 1364µm.
The buoy was re-painted in accordance with an Altex specification. The painting has been done by TBS Coatings, headed by Kerry Thomson. Area painted approx 498m² and the finished result - excellent!
